AVGS Coaching - Marina Coach

If you're officially unemployed in Germany, you may be eligible for a voucher for 1–1 job coaching with me. I work as part of the DeDucation Aachen team, who offer services in integration, education and career orientation for the German job market.

What is AVGS?

AVGS stands for Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein – Activation and Placement Voucher. In short: it’s an unemployment benefit that helps job seekers improve their chances of finding a job. With this voucher, your job coaching is fully funded by the government.

How to get this voucher?

Talk to your advisor (Berater) at the Jobcenter or Arbeitsagentur and request the AVGS voucher – explaining why coaching would support your situation. Our team can guide you through the process, no matter where in Germany you are.

What is AVGS?

AVGS (Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein) is a voucher from the German Employment Agency that covers coaching costs for people who are:

Actively job-seeking
In a career transition
Returning to work after a break

The goal: to help you find direction in your job search.

What we work on

Depending on your needs we may:

Evaluate your career direction
Learn specifics of German IT market
Prepare CV and prepare for interviews (in German as needed)
Validate your degree / diploma
Check alternatives such as Ausbildung
Improve networking as a key instrument in job searching in 2026
Work towards overcoming self-doubt and impostor syndrome
Building confidence and reconnecting with your strengths and values

How it works

Get your voucher: Request an AVGS from your Arbeitsvermittler at the employment agency. Contact me if you need a support with this step.
Get in touch: We meet to see if we're a good fit. I'll guide you through some required paperwork.
Start coaching: Once paperwork is approved (approx.2 weeks), we begin our work together, first meetup - goals setting.

Coaching Duration: min 12 academic hours within 2 weeks, max 52 academic hours within 8 weeks
